In honor of American Pharoah wining  the Triple Crown and after 37 years without a Triple Crown winner I made “The Golden Horse.” The chestnut colored horse is linoleum block printed, cut out and collages onto Arches 300 pound watercolor paper. The gold crown and purple royalty colors are then hand drawn using Schmincke watercolor. The one of a kind completely handmade artwork is 7″ tall by 5″ wide.
