Statement
As an interdisciplinary artist, I create artwork using printmaking, drawing, installation, and any combination thereof. Grounded in traditions of performance walking, I use trekking to investigate ritual and rhythm that test my physical and psychic boundaries. I utilize tools such as GPS tracking, audio recording, and photography to record my treks and pose questions of wandering, displacement, routes, and territory. The concept is inspired by my practices of long-distance running, printmaking, encountering nature, and experiencing raw solitude.

Is the Moth Migration Project on-going as of Sept 3, 2017? I have a class of students in Norwalk that would participate if still open. Thanks

Dear Melissa,
Yes! I will create a new post this week explaining the next step. The exhibition will be traveling worldwide and I would love more students to participate. I created a new form for people to fill out, but yes, please join the project!
Best
