This I call my “Preparation Painting.” It is a long way from the small watercolors I planned, but this is where my work is taking me now.

I have three glass cases, two of which are 23 feet and one is 21 feet. The backgrounds are all painted and tomorrow I begin in install a new forest. Since my last exhibition just closed I do not have time to make big additions to this show but it will be site specific, meaning the trees, mountains and animals needs to fit in the space accordingly. While it is 23 feet long, it is only 4′ tall.

Well I have to get to drawing some trees, I will post images as they develop.
